今ここにあった満月が、
月日の流れとともにだんだんと欠けていく。
ひょっとしたら、
誰かが月を食べてしまったせいかもしれない。
きっと月の子どもたちが食べているのだろう。
やがて、この子どもたちが立派な月となり、
私たちの夜を照らすだろう。

The moon above us,
gradually wanes through time.
Perhaps,
somebody must’ve been eating the moon.
Maybe the children of the moon has been eating it.
Someday, the children becomes the full moon,
and lightens our night.
